Early Life and Influences

Steven Lee Lukather was born on October 21, , in the San Fernando Valley, California. At the age of seven, he began playing keyboards and drums. His passion for guitar was ignited when his father gifted him with an acoustic guitar and a copy of The Beatles' "Meet the Beatles" album. Lukather described The Beatles' music as "life-changing" and was particularly influenced by George Harrison's guitar playing.

Joining Toto
