Ria bolivar biography

Last November, supermodels Ria Bolivar and Rachel Santillan held the graduation show of their first modeling workshop called Passion For Fashion. Held at SM City Iloilo, the show featured the collections of Ilonggo designers, as well as local brands.

Both Ria and Rachel were born and raised in Iloilo but had never met. Rachel did most of her modeling in TV commercials around the Asian region. Ria, meanwhile, once she was discovered by designer Bo Parcon while working at Robinsons Place Iloilo, dove head first into runway and editorial work in Manila. Their paths crossed when they both did a fashion show in Australia, where Rachel had already migrated to. Their shared interests and background led to a conversation about holding modeling workshops in Iloilo.

The timing couldn’t have been more perfect because Rachel had decided to go back to her hometown, while Ria, having given birth to a baby boy a year and half ago Ria bolivar height.
